Is there a monthly charge to track my vehicle?
No, all our trackers include a lifetime tracking subscription. The only on going costs you will incur is from your telco for your SIM.

Is there a contract term?
Not for Freetrack.

What type of SIM card is required for the tracker?
You’ll need to provide a micro SIM card which is active on your chosen GSM/WCDMA network. The SIM card can be “on account” (recommended) or prepay however you are responsible to ensure the SIM card remains active and has credit on it. The SIM card should be able to connect to your telcos data network and must be able to send SMS messages and make phone calls.

How much will the SIM card cost?
Running costs will vary depending on how you use the tracker and what your telco charges for data etc. An average user on default tracker settings, driving a couple of hours per day would use around 10MB of data per month.

Can the tracker notify me when my car alarm is activated?
Yes, some of our vehicle trackers can connect to your car alarm and send you a push notification, SMS or call you when the alarm activates. Check the trackers user guide for details.

Can I have multiple trackers on my account?
Yes, you can have an unlimited number of trackers on your account and visible on your Tracksolid Pro smartphone app. 

What if someone adds my tracker to their account?
Freetrack GPS trackers can only by bound to one account at a time. For someone to add (bind) your tracker to their account you would first have to unbind it from your account.

Can my staff have separate logins and access levels?
No, your Freetrack account has one username and password. However your login can be used on more than one device at the same time.

How do I view where a vehicle has been?
You can playback trip history directly on the Freetrack app.

Can I run reports on my vehicles?
No, reporting functionality is not included.

Can I link my older Freetrack GPS to the same app?

Linking the previous AVSFT-06E and the new AVSFT-802?
Is a simple procedure:
1.) Screenshot an image of the ‘Detail’ page on the app of your old tracker.
2.) Forward that image as an e-mail to sales@formula.co.nz, including your name and contact details.
Adding the subject line - Please transfer to Tracksolid Pro.
In most cases the move will take 24-48 hours to be completed.(Excl weekends)
• You will receive a reply e-mail alerting you that the change has been completed
• Continue to follow the steps at the bottom of pg6 of the AVSFT-802 User Guide to add your old Freetrack to your new app.
